Wire-cut EDM
Wire EDM is a method of cutting conductive materials with cutting tools, thin electrodes and wires. Is there any physical contact between the machined part and the wire? Instead, the wire is quickly charged to a certain voltage. The heat generated by this initiation of the process causes a small part of the workpiece to melt.
