Xiangyin Road Tunnel Conducted Fire Emergency Response Special Disposal Plan Drill
According to the deployment of the Safety Production Committee of DZUG, Shanghai Xiangyin Road Tunnel arranged the "Tunnel Fire Emergency Special Disposal Plan Drill" at 0:00 a.m. on May 20 in order to test the ability of dealing with tunnel fire emergencies. Jiang Yun, vice president of the group in charge of Xiangyin Road Tunnel, took the responsibility of the general commander of the drill. The maintenance company, traffic police division, fireman and other parties participated in the drill.
During the drill, Xiangyin Road Tunnel displayed swift and resolute leadership in the face of a sudden fire. The monitoring and communication systems operated seamlessly. Tunnel traffic control responded promptly, and specialized vehicles and personnel swiftly reached the scene of the fire. They carried out their tasks in accordance with the instructions from the drill command center. Inside the tunnel, firefighting facilities such as sprinklers, fire hoses, fire extinguishers, and gas masks were found to be in excellent condition. On-site personnel skillfully and rapidly utilized various firefighting equipment to combat the fire and carry out related operations. By 1:00 in the morning, the drill had been successfully completed, and Xiangyin Road Tunnel restored normal traffic flow. Through this drill, collaboration and coordination among various departments in responding to sudden fires were strengthened, and it served as valuable training to enhance the emergency response capabilities of the maintenance management team.
